Weak instability will be present in the vicinity of the frontal rain through Sunday and Sunday night as it tracks gradually eastwards across Ireland into western Britain. While little lightning activity is expected, the odd isolated lightning strike cannot be ruled out. A few showers will follow the main frontal rain, albeit rather restricted in height due to a pronounced mid-level dry intrusion.
