There is a rather low risk of isolated lightning strikes near the Northern Isles close to an upper low on Tuesday morning, but it is likely any activity will probably remain over the North Sea and the risk will be reducing through the day as the upper low drifts slowly towards Norway, leaving rather persistent rain on the wrap-around occlusion in its wake. Elsewhere, scattered showers are likely in northern and western parts, but generally quite shallow in depth.
