Scattered showers across Ireland and western Britain on Friday daytime may be capable of producing the odd isolated lightning strike. Many of these will fade during the evening as a new Atlantic frontal system approaches from the southwest, however showery outbreaks of rain moving across SW England and S Wales during the early hours of Saturday will likely contain some embedded elevated convection and therefore a low risk of the odd isolated lightning strike.
