The main focus for isolated lightning is associated with scattered showers on Wednesday daytime over Scotland and western Ireland. Overnight, some line convection may develop along the cold front as it tracks eastwards across Ireland, the Irish Sea, and eventually into W Wales and SW England late in the night - although the risk of lightning is rather low.
