Residual moisture and low-level convergence along a decaying eastward-moving occlusion will provide the focus for scattered heavy showers across Ulster and northern Leinster on Saturday afternoon, with other showers also developing over the high ground of Scotland. In both areas a few isolated lightning strikes may be possible, but the overall depth of convection will likely be somewhat limited.
